The experiment of bowling Will Jacks against Nicholas Pooran has worked brilliantly for the Mumbai Indians and Hardik Pandya. Given how great Pooran has been against spin bowlers this season, it was a brave call from the MI skipper.
Rishabh Pant, coming in to bat at number four, was once again dismissed for a low score. After smashing a four on the first ball he faced, the left-handed batter attempted a reverse sweep but could not clear the fielders in the 30-yard circle and presented Karn Sharma a catch.

In spite of losing Aiden Markram in the third over have made sure that they make use of the restrictions in the power play. While the two overs from Jasprit Bumrah went for only 13 runs. However, Deepak Chahar, who bowled three overs in the power play, gave away 38 runs.
