The right-handed batter was dismissed by the same bowler the last time these two sides met in the tournament. However, his negative match-up did not prevent the former MI skipper from playing his shots. He struck a six and a four off consecutive deliveries in the third over. Having used their impact sub in the first innings itself, SRH had to start their bowling innings without the services of Mohammed Shami. Skipper, Pat Cummins, who usually bowls the second over for the Orange Army opened the bowling. The Australian pacer was struck for a four by Ryan Rickelton.
Mumbai Indians in spite of having half of the SRH back to the pavilion for a score of only 35 runs have allowed the hosts to get to a score of 143. Heinrich Klaasen played out a fantastic knock bailing the Orange Ary out of the trouble. He scored 71 runs in only 44 deliveries before becoming the 300th scalp for Jasprit Bumrah in T20s.However, in spite of the 99-run sixth-wicket stand between Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar, the hosts would know that they would need to bowl out of their skins to defend this total.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 110/5 after 17 overs. Klaasen: 62* (40), Manohar: 21* (26)
On a day where most of the MI bowlers have had a great time, it is their ace pacer, Jasprit Bumrah who has proven to be the most expensive in the three overs he has bowled so far. The right-arm pacer was struck for a four on the first ball of the 17th over by Abhinav Manohar.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 68/5 after 11 overs. Klaasen: 41* (28), Manohar: 1* (2)
Heinrich Klaasen has played some great shots already. The hosts would want their explosive batter to carry on with his knock. After scoring 15 off the previous over, Klaasen took the attack against Hardik Pandya. He struck three fours in the over. The MI skipper conceded 16 runs in his over.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 52/5 after 10 overs. Klaasen: 26* (22), Manohar: 1* (2)

Mumbai Indians seemed to be peaking at the right time. The five-time champions came into this clash having won their last three games. The first six overs in Hyderabad suggest that a fourth win might not be too far away.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 13/4 after 4.1 overs. Klaasen: 0* (3)

It is the same pitch where Ishan Kishan and Abhishek scored their centuries this season. However, both batters along With Travis Head are already dismissed and SRH looks in all sorts of trouble.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 12/2 after 3 overs. Abhishek: 8* (6), Nitish Reddy: 1* (4)
Ishan Kishan walked off! The left-handed batter raised eyebrows on the first ball of the third over. Even though Deepak Chahar did not induce the edge but the left-handed batter walked off. Not many players from the MI camp appealed and still has gotten the hosts two down in the third over.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 9/1 after 2 overs. Abhishek: 6* (5), Ishan: 1* (3)
The hosts have been pushed to the back foot in the very second over of the match. Even though Trent Boult did not bowl the first over, he still made a huge impact early in his spell. The Kiwi pacer dismissed Travis Head with his second delivery in the match. Head was dismissed for a four-ball duck.

Deepak Chahar and Mumbai Indians started on a positive note in the first over. The right-arm pacer found swing and movement in the air. While the left-handed opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma remained unchallenged mostly, they would want to make the most of the rest of the power play.
MI won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians teams feature some of the biggest names in the world of cricket and yet the two teams would have liked to have won more games than they have till now.
The hosts played their last game against the Mumbai Indians. The game was played on a pitch which did not allow the free-flowing batters of the Sunrisers to play their shots. As they return to home after a horrific loss, the only change in the team could the use of the impact sub. Rahul Chahar played his first game of the season in the previous as the impact player. He might not return tonight with SRH looking at an extra seam-bowling option.
In the MI camp, Karn Sharma could make a return to the side after missing the previous game against CSK with stitches on his hand.
