With 5 points and a net run rate (NRR) of +1.722, they are one of the top contenders to qualify for the spot in the 2026 T20 WC.
Out of the five teams, the top two teams from the points table will qualify for the spot in the main T20 WC 2026 event. Joe Burns-led side, Italy, are doing well, and they have one game left against the Netherlands on July 11, 2025. The other teams who are in contention are the Netherlands, Jersey, and Scotland. If Italy fails to win their last game, their chance to go ahead will depend on NRR. Jersey and Scotland will decide things when they play each other in their last game.
