The stadium is named after a famous Musician and filmmaker known as Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium. Among the locals the stadium is famous as Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Located in Guwahati, Assam, the ACA (Assam Cricket Association) stadium is also the second home of the Rajasthan Royals team. It is also homeground of the Assam Cricket Team. The stadium can hold up 40,000 spectators, to be precise 37,800 fans. The ACA Stadium is one of the new International cricket stadiums which has hosted many memorable matches so far including 5 IPL matches.
