As part of this commercial expansion, Nottinghamshire CCC chose to retain a 51% controlling stake, while selling 49% of the franchise to Cain International and Ares Management for a reported £79 million, valuing the team at approximately £80 million.
This marked a new era for the Rockets. The investment group, led by Chelsea FC co-owner Todd Boehly and Jonathan Goldstein, brings extensive experience in global sports and entertainment.
