Big Bash League Overview: Format, History and Revenue

Australia's premier T20 tournament is the Big Bash League, which was launched in the year 2011. Earlier, in place of the BBL, there was a state tournament from 2005-06, which never attracted audiences and sponsors, especially in Australia. The BBL competition was sponsored by the famous fast-food chain KFC from the very beginning of the tournament.  There are eight teams in the BBL.
