Caribbean Premier League 2025, An Overview: History, Format and Revenue

The Caribbean Premier League is a professional Twenty20 cricket league that is held in the magnificent Caribbean islands. Inspired by the IPL, the West Indies Cricket Board introduced the shorter format Premier League in the Caribbean in 2013. The CPL was launched to bring a new life into the regional cricket of the Caribbean with a franchise-based and commercially successful model like the IPL.
