ENG vs IND 2025: Will Kuldeep Yadav Return for 5th Test at The Oval? Full Analysis
The series has been quite exciting so far, with England securing a stunning victory by winning the first Test at Leeds by 5 wickets. Then, the young Indian team bounced back and defeated England by 336 runs.
And the third Test was quite disappointing for the Indian team and their fans as they lost the match by a close margin of 22 runs at the home ground of cricket. The fourth Test was in England's favour till the fourth day, but with the help of centuries from Gill, Washington and Jadeja, India managed to draw the Test.
This will greatly benefit the Indian team which is trailing 2-1 in the five-match Test series. India had performed brilliantly in the last match and was successful in drawing the match after batting for almost two days.
So far four matches of the series have been played, out of which England has won two matches, while Team India has managed to win one match. One match ended in a draw. This means that India no longer has a chance to win the series, but the series can definitely end in a draw. If the Indian team wins the last match then the series will be tied, but if England wins the match or the match is drawn then Team India will have to face defeat. India will announce its playing eleven on 31 July i.e. on the day of the match at the time of toss.
