Test legend Jimmy Anderson is going to return to T20 cricket after 11 years. He will make his debut in The Hundred in 2025 as the Manchester Originals have signed him via a wild card contract. Although he was not selected in the Hundred draft held in March, despite that, seeing his potential and experience, Manchester has included him in their squad. Anderson has taken 18 wickets in 19 matches in his international T20 career, with an average of 30.66. However, Anderson took 704 wickets in Test cricket, making him the third top Test wicket taker overall.
Like James Anderson, Rocky Flintoff has also received a wild card contract on. He will be seen playing for the Northern Superchargers, which is coached by his father Andrew Flintoff. Although he does not have any experience playing any professional T20 matches yet. But he had scored a brilliant century in the recent series played against India Under-19, but India was successful in getting a big score with the help of Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 143 runs in 78 balls and Rocky's team lost the match. All the teams have strengthened their squads by signing two new and excellent players each in their team through ‘wildcard’.
