1. Sai Sudarshan - 123*/56

Southpaw left-handed batter Sai Sudarashan is the top run scorer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League history. Hailing from Chennai, Bhardwaj Sai Sudarashan scored an unbeaten 123 runs off 56 balls with a strike rate of 219.64, including 9 boundaries and 9 sixes. In 2024, Sai bagged his highest score for Lyca Kovai Kings against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans at NPR College Ground in TNPL. Due to his consistent performance in Domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu and in IPL, Sai Sudarshan got a national call-up in the Indian cricket team in 2023. In IPL 2025, Sai Sudarshan amassed 759 runs in just 15 innings, including one ton and 6 fifties, becoming the youngest player to receive an Orange Cap Title in the tournament's history.        

2. Murali Vijay - 121/66

Veteran Murali Vijay is the second-highest individual scorer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League history. 41-year-old Murali Vijay is known for his batting technique, who plays in the Tamil Nadu Domestic cricket and the TNPL. He accumulated 121 runs in just 66 balls with a strike rate of 183.33, including 7 fours and 12 sixes. Murali Vijay achieved his best TNPL score in a match between Trichy Warriors and Nellai Royal Kings at SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore in 2022. 

3. Baba Aparajith - 118*/63

Baba Aparjith is next on the list of the top batsmen with the highest run chase in TNPL history. In 2016, Baba Aparjith scored an unbeaten 118 runs from just 63 balls for Nellai Royal Kings against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans at NPR College Ground. He achieved his best TNPL score with a strike rate of 187.3 and slammed 12 fours and 6 sixes. Promising all-rounder Baba Aparjith is one of the highest run-getters in the TNPL history. Known for his all-rounder skills, Aparajith is a right-handed batter and offspinner who has bagged multiple double centuries in domestic cricket, including South Zone and Tamil Nadu, showing his batting prowess and ability to score the highest runs across multiple formats.    

4. Bharath Shankar - 112*/68

Next, we have Bharat Shankar, who scored not out 112 off 68 balls, fourth fourth-highest individual score in the Tamil Nadu Premier League so far. He scored his highest score with a strike rate of 164.70, including 10 fours and 7 sixes. Known for his explosive batting, Bharath Shankar made his record for Trichy Warriors against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans at NPR College Ground in the 2017 Tamil Nadu Premier League.   

5. Guruswamy Ajitesh - 112/60

Last but the least, Guruswamy Ajitesh is the fifth top run scorer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League. Guruswamu Ajitesh amassed 112 runs from just 60 balls with a strike rate of 186.66, including 7 fours and 8 sixes. He bagged his highest score of 112 for the Nellai Royal Kings against Lyca Kovai Kings at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore in 2023. Known for his cynical finishes, Guruswamy Ajitesh was also the top run scorer, 384 runs at a strike rate of 164.10 in the 2023 TNPL.
