Most Centuries in Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 

Sai Sudarshan has shared the most centuries record with Shivam Singh in the 2024 Tamil Nadu Premier League. Sai Sudarshan bagged a century of an unbeaten 123 runs off 56 balls with a strike rate of 150.63 for Kovai Kings, including 19 fours and 10 sixes. Shivam Singh is another batsman who bagged 106 runs off 57 balls for Dindigul Dragons in 2024.

Every year, eight franchises face each other in the Round-Robin stage; finally, the top four advance to the playoffs (two qualifiers, eliminator, final).  In the previous season of the 2024 TNPL, Dindigul Dragons defeated the Kovai Kings in the Final and won by 6 wickets at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. As of 2025, TNCA has successfully organised eight seasons of the TNPL, with the most recent running in its final stage. 
The  2025 Tamil Nadu Premier League was scheduled from June 5 to July 6, 2025, at multiple venues, including SNR College Cricket Ground, SCF Cricket Ground, Indian Cement Company Ground, and NPR College Ground.

Since 2016, the Tamil Nadu Premier League has been one of the exciting Domestic T20 tournaments with close contests, emerging match finishers, and hard-hitting scorers. Many batsmen scored centuries in the Tamil Nadu Premier League. But which batsman scored the most centuries in the Tamil Nadu Premier League? 
Here are the top five players with the most centuries in the Tamil Nadu Premier League from 2016 to 2025:

1. Arun Karthik - 3 Centuries 

Arun Karthik is the top batsman with the most centuries in the Tamil Nadu Premier League. Seasonal batter Arun Karthik has bagged three centuries while scoring 2308 in 68 matches with an average of 40.49 at a strike rate of 147.94. He scored his highest score of an unbeaten 104 runs off 61 balls with a strike rate of 170.49 for Nellai Royal Kings against Chepauk Super Gillies at Salem Cricket Foundation Stadium in 2023. His impressive knock of 104 includes 10 fours and 5 sixes.

2. Murali Vijay - 2 Centuries

Next is Murli Vijay, who is the second batter with the most centuries in TNPL history. Veteran Murali Vijay has bagged two centuries while scoring 734 runs from 14 matches with an average of 61.16 at a strike rate of 148.58.  His highest score is 121 runs off 66 balls with a strike rate of 183.33, including 7 boundaries and 12 sixes. He scored his highest knock of 121 for Trichy Grand Cholas against Nellai Royal Kings in the 2022.

3. Sai Sudharsan - 1 Century

Next, we have Sai Sudarshan in the list of the top hundred in TNPL history. Sai Sudarshan is the highest individual scorer in TNPL with his impressive unbeaten knock of 123 runs off 56 balls with a strike rate of 219.64, including 9-9 fours and sixes. He bagged his only TNPL century for Lyca Kovai Kings against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in 2024. 

4. Baba Aparajith - 1 Century

Baba Aparjith is the next batsman, sharing the record for the most centuries in the TNPL with Sai Sudarshan. One of the formidable batters, Baba Aparjith has bagged his only TNPL century of 118 off 63 balls with a strike rate of 187.30 for IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans against Nellai Royal Kings in 2016. His impressive knock includes 12 fours and 6 sixes.

5. Bharath Shankar - 1 Century

Bharath Shankar is the next batter who scored his only century of unbeaten 112 runs off 68 balls with a strike rate of 164.70, including 10 fours and 7 sixes. He scored his highest TNPL score for the Trichy Grand Chola against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in 2017. He has scored 613 runs from 21 matches with an average of 30.65 and a strike rate of 128.78.
