SRH's new rising talent, Eshan Malinga comes from Ratnapuri in Sri Lanka. 24-year-old Eshan Malinga is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and occasionally a left-arm batter. He made his first-class debut in Sri Lanka in 2022. Same year, he also debuted for List A and T20 cricket. However, he made his ODI debut against New Zealand in 2025 at Wellington. Before the IPL, he was part of the Jaffna Kings and Colombo Strikers in the Lanka Premier League. Eshan Malinga made his IPL debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 18th IPL season in 2025. He played his first game against the Punjab Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. During his innings, he delivered 4 overs while conceding 45 runs and scalped 2 wickets.
