In 2008, Rohit Sharma made his IPL debut with the Deccan Chargers against Kolkata Knight Riders on 18th April at Eden Gardens. In his debut match, Rohit Sharma received a 3 ball duck off Murali Karthik’s ball. However, Rohit bounced back in his second match and scored 66 runs off 36 balls in a match between the Deccan Chargers and the Delhi Capitals at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
