In the ILT20 2024, Farooqi was a standout performer, representing MI Emirates, scalping 17 wickets in 8 matches. Previously, played for the SRH, Fazalhaq Farooqi went unsold after being released by the franchise during the 2024 IPL season. In the 2022 IPL season, Fazalhaq Farooqi made his IPL debut on May 8 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
