Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2018 to 2021 seasons: He was with them for 4 seasons where he played as an important middle-order batsman. His performances were very consistent during this IPL period even though the team had more trust in their old players.
Lucknow Super Giants in 2022 season: He joined this newly-formed team for 1 season before making another shift in the next season.
Delhi Capitals in 2023 season: He played for Delhi Capitals in 2023 in which his leadership and experience were added to the team's depth, although his individual performances didn’t stand out from rest of the players.
He is all set to play under Kolkata Knight Riders’ banner in this year’s season. He joined KKR in 2024 again after playing with them from 2014 to 2017 and moving to different teams then. His return to KKR is thought of as a strategic move to strengthen the team’s batting part with an experienced all-rounder player.
