In 2022 season, Yash Dayal was a newbie in IPL under Gujarat Titans team who played 9 matches overall and took 11 wickets, made 3 wickets in 40 runs his best bowling figure of the season, an average, economy rate and strike rate of 26.91, 9.25 and 17.45 respectively.
In season of 2023, Yash Dayal again represented Gujarat Titans but didn’t play much as he took 2 wickets in 5 matches with 1/31 as his best bowling figure of the season which is known to be his lowest. His sudden low performance is believed to be his bowling in one of the intense overs of a match against Kolkata Knight Riders which led to making of continuous 6s by Rinku Singh.
