He wasn’t selected for the series against The Aussies, Proteas and Zimbabwe. Babar has scored 4223 runs from 128 matches and 121 innings with 36 half centuries and three centuries for Pakistan. Azam had an average of 39.84 and a strike rate of 129.23 in his T20I career.
The pace bowler of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi will also be left out from the T20 International squad of Pakistan. Shaheen has the pace, accuracy of right lines and lengths. His experience would be boosted the bowling line up of the Men in Green. But now, the PCB and the new coach Hesson will part ways with this pace bowler. Afridi. In 79 matches and 79 innings, Shaheen has picked up 102 scalps to his name with an average of 22.13, an economy rate of 7.9 and a strike rate of 16.8.
The wicketkeeper and the opening batsman of Pakistani side, Mohammad Rizwan too has been snubbed from the T20 International side of the Men in Green. Rizwan is the current ODI captain of Pakistan while Salman Ali Agha will lead the T20 International side of Pakistan. In his T20I career, Rizwan has scored 3414 runs in 106 matches and 93 innings with an 46.77 and a strike rate of 125.38. Rizwan has scored 30 half centuries and one century in the shorter version of the fame for Pakistan.
