Ab de Villiers was named the man of the match for his incredible batting performance in the first innings. The right-handed batter scored 61 runs in only 30 balls to help South Africa Champions go past the 200-run mark. His unbeaten knock consisted of four fours and three sixes. While wickets continued to fall on the other end, de Villiers remained unbeaten while going at a strike rate of more than 200.
The kind of captaincy innings played by AB de Villiers has played an important role in helping the team achieve a big score. Aaron Phangiso was the pick among the bowlers for South Africa Champions in the second innings. The left-arm spinner picked up three wickets while giving away only 17 runs in his quota of four overs. He dismissed Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, and Pawan Negi with his accurate bowling.
India Champions invited South Africa Champions to bat first. But South Africa Champions played well from the beginning and made good partnerships to take the team's score forward. For India Champions, Stuart Binny was the top run-getter as he scored 37 runs. However, the all-rounder played at a low strike rate while the other batters failed to create much impact.
AB de Villiers' strong innings of 63 runs in 30 balls was definitely the best key moment of this match.
