After that argument with the Umpire (Paul Reiffel), Rishabh Pant was very annoyed with his decision, and then he threw the ball in anger. The Level 1 of the cricket code of conduct by ICC carries a minimum penalty of 50% of the total player match fees.

There are some serious kinds of offences that carry huge penalties:

2. Encourage the player to perform one of the two specified tasks.
Abuse of anything related to any part of the ground, like some equipment, clothes, etc.
Excessive appealing to the Umpire or any abuse to the Umpire by language or any kind of gesture is also a breach of the Level 1 code of conduct of the ICC.
Any physical contact with any player or Umpire in a match is breach of the level 2 of the cricket code of conduct.
Throwing a ball at any player, Umpire or any official person in a dangerous manner that can harm.
Repeating any level first offence in twelve months is also considered a breach of level 2.
Repetition of the Level 2 offence in the next 1 year.
Assault or any threat to an Umpire.
Trying to change any condition of the ball.
Level 1: The level 1 of the ICC code of conduct includes a fine of 0-50% of the total match fee of the player.
Level 2: The level 2 of ICC code of conduct includes fine of 50-100% of total match fee of the player.
Level 3: In this the player is banned for 6 Tests or for 12 ODIs cricket matches.
Level 4: In this the player is banned for Tests to life or 20 ODIs for lifetime cricket matches.
The Indian wicket-keeper and batsman Rishabh Pant played a huge role in both innings of the first Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the India tour of England. In the first innings of the match, he had scored 134 runs in 178 balls while hitting 12 fours and 6 sixes.
In the second innings, Rishab Pant hits fifteen fours and three sixes, scoring 118 runs in 140 balls. Although in his career, Pant had scored 3200 runs in 77 innings with the highest score of 159* runs with a strike rate of 74.03, smashing 347 fours and 82 sixes and with this he became the third-best six-hitter in a Test match.
