A special metro has been scheduled to depart from Esplanade at 00:15 hours and is expected to arrive at Dakshineswar at 00:48 hours.
Another special metro (Spl.2) has been arranged to leave Esplanade at 00:15 hours and reach Kavi Subhas at 00:48 hours. Both trains will halt at all stations along their respective routes.
A single special train (Spl.1) has been designated to run from Esplanade at 00:15 hours, with its arrival at Howrah Maidan scheduled for 00:23 hours.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy showers in Kolkata, attributed to an anticyclonic system over the Bay of Bengal. An orange alert has also been issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre for parts of West Bengal from March 20 to March 22.
