Umar Amin was the man of the match for his brilliant innings of 58 runs in 42 balls. He played this innings at a time when Pakistan needed more than anything special. Their top order gave them an aggressive start, but to keep it going, Pakistan needed a strong innings, which was played by Umar Amin. He also hit three sixes and 4 fours in this amazing inning. He scored five fours in his bowling while his strike rate remained above 135. He faced all the bowlers of the South African champions bravely. His good innings certainly helped Pakistan score a big total of 198 runs
Morne van Wyk was the only player who performed well for the South African champions in this match. At one time, he surprised the Pakistani bowlers with his aggressive batting style. He played a brilliant innings of 44 runs in 20 balls in which his strike rate was 220. Along with this, he accelerated the scoreboard of the South African champions by hitting two sixes and five fours. Certainly, his brilliant innings helped South Africa reach the score of 167; otherwise, they could have lost the match by a big margin.
South Africa won the toss in this match and chose to bowl first.
