Former Bangladesh cricketer Tamim had a great cricket record. His cricketing career began in 2007 when he made his One Day debut against Zimbabwe. He scored more than 15000 international runs across all formats and became the only player from Bangladesh to make centuries in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. He also made a mark with his outstanding performance in the Dhaka Premier League, being the fourth-highest run-scorer in the tournament.
He had scored a total of 386 runs at an average rate of 73.60 and strike-rate of 102.50 with two centuries to his name. He announced his retirement from international cricket for the second time ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025.
Tamim’s impressive performance and contributions have led Bangladesh cricket to one of the most prominent icons in the country’s sporting history.
