If BCCI fails to get the approval from the government on time, then in that case, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's return to ODIs will definitely get delayed. In that situation, we will be able to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma playing in the ODI series against Australia, that tour will start from October 19. Team India has to play three ODIs and a five-match T20 series on the Australia tour. India will start their campaign on 19th October with the 1st ODI match at the Perth Stadium. Both these players have performed brilliantly against Australia in ODIs. A few reports also claim, Cricket Australia will celebrate Kohli and Rohit during this tour, as they believe this could be their final tour as professional cricketers.
However, immediately after the Australia tour, South Africa will tour India, where India will host 2-Test matches, 3-ODI matches, and a 5-T20 matches series. South Africa will start their campaign from 14th November with the 1st test match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
