Arun Jaitley Stadium is known for its batting-friendly surface and high-scoring matches. The pitch’s surface and shorter boundaries make it a dream come true for the batsmen. Speaking of the bowlers' side, the spinners have an advantage over the pacers, especially in the middle overs.
Arun Jaitley stadium is more batter’s paradise, especially in the evening when the dew factors come along and make it difficult for the bowlers to control the ball. The shorter boundaries are another reason why some of the high-scoring matches have been recorded here. The surface also favours the batters, and the ball comes to the bat smoothly.
Even the Feroz Shah Kotla supports the batters in the initial overs, when the pitch is nice and slow. But over time, as the match progresses, bowlers can turn it to their favour. Especially spinners who get as much assistance from the pitch and put a stop to the batter's run parade.
