Players with the Most Catches in the Caribbean Premier League 2024

In the Caribbean Premier League 2024, St Lucia Kings won the title for the first time by defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors, and many records were created with it. While many players performed well in batting and bowling, some played a very important role in winning the match by taking catches at crucial moments. In CPL 2024, Rovman Powell of Barbados Royals took the most catches in the previous season. He took 11 catches in 12 matches and also achieved the feat of taking a maximum of four catches in an innings. His per-innings catching average was 0.916 in the CPL 2024. Khary Pierre also played a big role in getting the first title win for his team, and along with good bowling, he also took 9 catches in 9 matches in fielding as well. Apart from them, Shimron Hetmyer, Kofi James, Keemo Paul, Jason Roy, Kieron Pollard, David Wiese, Faf du Plessis, and Chris Green took good catches and made their place among the top catch-takers in the CPL 2024.

5. Andre Russell

Known for his excellent bowling in the death overs and excellent batting in the middle order. Apart from this, he is also a great fielder who has made the team win by taking charismatic catches. In the Caribbean Premier League so far, Russell has taken 52 catches in 105 matches, resulting in a per-innings catching average of 0.504. The maximum number of catches taken by him in an innings has been three.

4. Rovman Powell

Rovman Powell is a great batting all-rounder from the West Indies who is known for his hard-hitting batting ability in the middle order. Due to his power-hitting ability, this player has played almost all the T20 leagues globally. When he is in form, he is enough to spoil any best opponent bowling line. The Bowling all-rounder Jason Holder has always played a big role in helping his franchise teams win matches. He has played in almost all the leagues of world cricket. He has helped turn the tide of many important matches in the Caribbean Premier League with his excellent batting and bowling, as well as superb fielding. In the league so far, Holder has taken 57 catches in 104 matches, resulting in a per-innings catching average of 0.548. The maximum number of catches taken by him in an innings has been three. Brilliant all-rounder Jason Holder has played for his home franchise, Barbados, for 13 years in the CPL. In that period, he lifted the CPL trophy twice, in 2014 and 2019. However, he will join the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the CPL 2025.

It is no secret that he is a good bowler, batsman and also a good fielder. In the league so far, Bravo has taken 59 catches in 107 matches, resulting in a per-innings catching average of 0.561. In the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Bravo has played for the Trinbago Knight Riders, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and T&T Red Steel. Pollard has so far played for Caribbean Premier League teams like Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Tridents, and St Lucia Stars.
