Most Dismissals in the Caribbean Premier League 2024

The highest number of dismissals in the Caribbean Premier League 2024 was made by South African star wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock, who made a total of 13 dismissals in 12 matches with 7 catches and 5 stumps. While Caribbean star wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran is close behind him in second place with 10 dismissals. Apart from these, Shai Hope, Sam Billings, Azam Khan, Johnson Charles, Joshua de Silva, and Tim Seifert also succeeded in making a place in the top 10 with the most dismissals by wicketkeepers. Among them are also better wicketkeepers like Nicholas Pooran and Shai Hope, who performed brilliant wicket-keeping skills last year as well as in the CPL history.

5. Shai Hope

Shai Hope, who performed well in ODI cricket for the West Indies, has also done well as a wicketkeeper in the Caribbean Premier League. He has effected 30 dismissals in 27 innings of 68 matches he has played in the league. In which he took a total of 23 catches and did seven stumps, while his dismissal per innings average was 1.111. Shai Hope is in tremendous form at the moment, and it seems that he will be seen playing in the Caribbean Premier League in the many upcoming years, during which he will have more chances to dismiss the batters behind the Stumps, and he will definitely want to improve his position and move up to the top two or three. In the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Shai Hope has played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Barbados Tridents and Barbados Royals. He is also a successful captain and won a CPL title with Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2023 when he captained the team.

4. Devon Thomas

Devon Thomas has been one of the most experienced wicketkeepers in the Caribbean Premier League. He has made 44 dismissals behind the stumps in 67 innings of 86 matches in the league so far,  including 33 catches and 11 stumps. His dismissal per innings average was 0.656. Thomas has played for the Barbados Royals, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and Antigua Hawksbills in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has scored 1126 runs in 86 matches played in the Caribbean Premier League, in which his strike rate is over 117 and his highest score is 71.

3. Denesh Ramdin

Dinesh Ramdin is one of the best wicketkeepers in the West Indies. He has displayed excellent batting and wicket-keeping at both franchise and international levels. He has made 76 dismissals behind the stumps in 94 innings of 95 matches in the League, including 59 catches and 17 stumps. His dismissal per innings average was 0.808. After Ramdin retired from the CPL in 2021, Nicholas Pooran and Andre Fletcher overtook him to reach the top two positions. Earlier, he was the most successful wicketkeeper in the Caribbean Premier League. Ramdin has played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Moreover, he has won two CPL titles, both with the Trinbago Knight Riders in 2017 and 2018.

2. Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran is the best-performing batsman in T20 cricket right now and has also done excellent wicketkeeping in the Caribbean Premier League. Just as he is a great batsman, he is also known as a brilliant wicketkeeper behind the stumps. He has made 76 dismissals behind the stumps in 91 innings of 114 matches in the League, including 62 catches and 14 stumps. His dismissal per innings average was 0.835. Apart from this, he also made 10 Dismissals in 11 matches played in CPL 2024, which included six catches and four dismissals. There is every possibility that in the upcoming season of the League in 2025, he will become the most successful wicket-keeper in the CPL history. Pooran has played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Barbados Tridents, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Moreover, he has won one CPL title with the Trinbago Knight Riders in 2020.

1. Andre Fletcher

Andre Fletcher is the most successful wicketkeeper-batsman in Caribbean Premier League history with the most dismissals behind the stumps. Just as he is famous in world cricket for his aggressive batting and ‘No Look Shot’, in the same way, his excellent wicket-keeping is also considered excellent. He has made 77 dismissals behind the stumps in 99 innings of 118 matches in the League, including 62 catches and 15 stumps. His dismissal per innings average was 0.777. Fletcher has played for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and St Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has scored 3135 runs in 118 matches played in the Caribbean Premier League, in which his strike rate is over 121 and his highest score is 93*.
