Finally, in 2025, the T20 Mumbai League is returning after a six-year break. This will be its 3rd season, commencing from June 4 to 12 at two different venues - Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Unlike the T20 Mumbai League 2018 and 2019 seasons, there will be 8 teams that will fight for the trophy.
So far, two seasons of the T20 Mumbai League have been done and dusted from 2018 to 2019. Previously, in the 2019 T20 Mumbai League season, the North Mumbai Panthers defeated the SoBo SuperSonics by 6 wickets and became the winners at Wankhede Stadium.

Prithvi Shaw is the top run scorer in the 2019 T20 Mumbai League with 249 runs from 6 matches while averaging 49.8 at a 149.1 strike rate. Prithvi Shaw was a key player in the league while leading the North Mumbai Panthers to victory by dismantling the SoBo SuperSonics

Suryakumar Yadav has the most runs in the T20 Mumbai League in the history of the tournament from 2018 to 2019. Suryakumar Yadav amassed a total of 446 in 12 innings with an average of 37.17 and a strike rate of 155.79. While representing the Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, Suryakumar Yadav also led the team to victory in the tournament’s inaugural season in 2018. Yadav was one of the high scorers in both T20 Mumbai League seasons, scoring 244 from 7 matches in 2018 and 202 from 5 innings in the 2019 season. With the 3rd season of the T20 Mumbai League, Suryakumar Yadav is also set to come back as captain of Triumph Knights Mumbai North East.
Jay Gokul Bista is the second-highest run scorer in the T20 Mumbai League history. Captain of the SoBo SuperSonics, Jay Bista, bagged a total of 439 runs from 14 matches while averaging 31.26 and a strike rate of 138.39. Known for his aggressive batting style, Jay Bista is the only Nepali-origin player in India’s Domestic cricket. Representing the SoBo SuperSonics, Jay Bista led the team into the 2019 final, but failed to clinch the trophy and lost the match to the Panthers.

Born in Delhi, Aakarshit Gomel moved to Mumbai at a very early age and started his cricketing journey. Emerging top-order batter Aakarshit Gomel has played for two franchises in the T20 Mumbai League- SoBo SuperSonics (2018 ) and Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs (2019).
Shreyas Iyer is the fourth-highest run scorer in the T20 Mumbai League with his 363 runs in 6 matches.
