Bowling to Sherfane Rutherford, Satyanarayana Raju employed a similar line outside that was used by Vijaykumar Vyshak against the West Indian batter a few days ago. Both Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians feature some of the best players in their ranks. These players will have a huge role to play in making sure that their team walks away with two points at the end of the 40 overs.
The hosts were criticised for not opening the batting with Jos Buttler. The veteran English over the past seasons has been in sensational form at the top of the order. In the middle-order, they would have to find a position to incorporate someone like Washington Sundar who can provide some economical bowling as well at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The Mumbai Indians team will be bolstered by the addition of Hardik Pandya in their team. He will be captaining the five-time champions against his former team. Along with his captaincy skills, Pandya will also brin a much-needed balance to the team providing depth to batting and an extra option in the bowling unit.
