Playing at home it was only a couple of weeks ago when SRH had scored 286 runs in the first innings against Rajasthan Royals. Since then they have tried to maintain the ultra-aggressive intent but have lost wickets continuously. However, tonight against GT, it has been an utterly poor batting performance.
The hosts have lost three wickets and are playing at a run rate of only 6.44 runs per over in the first nine overs.

Prasidh Krishna has been pretty potent in the season barring the first game against Punjab Kings. He was rewarded with the wicket of Ishan Kishan thanks to his consistent lines and lengths.
SRH after making 286 runs in their first game have been off-color with the bat in hand. Their dangerous-looking top three of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan have been dismissed for a low score once again tonight.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 45/2 after 6 overs. Kishan: 15* (10), Nitish: 2* (5)
Gujarat Titans after winning the toss was right on the money in the powerplay. Mohammed Siraj bowled with immaculate control and was rewarded for his efforts. Bowling in front of his home crowd, Siraj picked up two wickets dismissing Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.
The only negative from the powerplay for the visitors was that substitute fielder, Glenn Phillips seemed to have injured himself in the sixth over. The Kiwi fielder is like a superman on the field generally but while attempting a quick pick-up and throw, he injured himself.

Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Aniket Verma, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Kamindu Mendis, Pat Cummins (C), Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Shami, Zeeshan Ansari
Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Washington Sundar, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Ishant Sharma
Sunrisers Hyderabad started this tournament similarly to how they had played in most of the previous season. However, their performance in the next three games has been reminiscent of that from the IPL 2024 final. The players in the Orange Army are pretty much the same, especially the batting unit. The two new additions to their team are Ishan Kishan who scored a century in the first game and Aniket Verma who has been a consistent run-scorer in their losses.
Gujarat Titans are pretty opposite to SRH when it comes to the form of individual players. Their players have come to the party at the best possible time in the tournament. While Sai Sudharsan has been in great form with the bat in hand since the start of the tournament, he has received great support from the likes of Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill. In the bowling department, Sai Kishore has been great while Rashid Khan is struggling. In the fast bowling department, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj have formed a decent bowling partnership while Ishant Sharma too is showing his experience and skills.
Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Aniket Verma, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Kamindu Mendis, Pat Cummins (C), Harshal Patel, Simarjeet Singh, Mohammed Shami, Zeeshan Ansari
