Hailing from Birmingham, England, Moeen Ali is one of the key players in the IPL who bats with the left hand and is a right-arm off-spin bowler. 37-year-old Moeen Ali is of Pakistani descent, born in Birmingham, known for his calm and cool nature in the field. He entered the IPL with his capability of hitting big in the middle overs and secured a spot in the IPL in 2018.

From Royal Challengers Bengaluru to Kolkata Knight Riders, Moeen Ali has participated in the 8th edition. He first joined RCB in 2018 and stayed with the franchise until the 2020 IPL edition. The franchise retained him for the next four seasons until 2025. After his departure from his former franchise, Kolkata welcomed him on board for the 2025 IPL season.
