Hailing from Birmingham, England, Moeen Ali is one of the key players in the IPL who bats with the left hand and is a right-arm off-spin bowler. 37-year-old Moeen Ali is of Pakistani descent, born in Birmingham, known for his calm and cool nature in the field. He entered the IPL with his capability of hitting big in the middle overs and secured a spot in the IPL in 2018.
Moeen Ali was first signed up with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2018 IPL edition. The Bengaluru franchise acquired Moeen Ali’s services for Rs 1.70 crore in the IPL auction. He played his first debut match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
