Jamaican player Rovman Powell is one of the prominent players of the West Indies National Cricket team and a former skipper of the team. Rovamn Powell is a right-handed batter and a right-arm pacer. He entered the IPL tournament in 2022 with the Delhi Capitals and made his debut.

Then, in 2023, the Rajasthan Royals bought Rovman for the price of INR 7.40 crore. In the 2025 auction, the Kolkata franchise was the sole bidder for Rovman Powell, who bid INR 1.50 and secured his services ahead of the season.
