Manchester Originals Women Team Insights

The Manchester Originals women’s team have not had the best of the times in the Women’s Hundred as they are the only team in the four seasons until now that haven’t made the playoffs. Led by Sophie Ecclestone and coached by Michael Klinger, the Manchester Originals are desperate to turn around their fortunes.

The Manchester Originals have a decent squad in the 2025 edition with the likes of Amelia Kerr, Sophie Ecclestone, Mahika Gaur, Fi Morris, Eve Jones and Beth Mooney forming the core of the side. However, their bid for playoffs in 2025 started off in rocky manner with defeat to Southern Braves in the opening encounter when they were only able to set a target of 96 to Southern Brave. The Originals if they want to make it to the playoffs need to bounce back against the Oval Invincibles.

Time is running out for the Manchester Originals, representing the Lancashire County and owned by the RPSG group to establish themselves as a force to reckon with in the women’s Hundred competition.
