Is KKR going to replace head coach Chandrakant Pandit?

Now, KKR is going to correct those mistakes of the IPL 2025  as well as make some changes in its coaching staff, as per such news that is coming out. Looking at the kind of performance KKR has shown in 2025 and the preparations for 2026, it seems that KKR is now looking for another coach in place of Chandrakant Pandit. The reason for ousting Chandrakant Pandit is not only KKR's poor performance in IPL, but during IPL 2025, some foreign players did not like his strict rules, according to which they were banned from interacting with the players of their national team. However, since Chandrakant Pandit was appointed as the head coach of KKR in 2022, KKR has also won the IPL title in 2024 after 10 years.

According to some reports, former England captain Eoin Morgan may take over the post of head coach in his place before IPL 2026. Let us tell you that Eoin Morgan has played four IPL seasons for KKR, and during his captaincy, Kolkata also played the IPL final in IPL 2021, where unfortunately, they lost the final to Chennai Super Kings. So it will not be a surprise if Morgan is appointed the new head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Will bowling coach Dwayne Bravo also be changed?

After being the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings, Dwayne Bravo joined the Kolkata Knight Riders as a mentor just before IPL 2025. Before this, he worked as the bowling coach of the Chennai Super Kings for three consecutive years. After Kolkata's poor performance in IPL 2025, the fingers have started pointing at him as well, and there is a high possibility that they will leave Kolkata before IPL 2026. Although Bravo has a good rapport with almost all the KKR players, the management feels that Bravo is not serious about his job. Due to all this, it seems that KKR is now going to remove Dwayne Bravo from the position of mentor.

However, soon after these reports came out, it is now known that maybe Bravo can return to the Chennai Super Kings next year as a coaching staff. Dwayne Bravo has a very old relationship with the Chennai Super Kings. The franchise had bought him for the first time in the IPL 2021 auction, after which he remained associated with the team continuously. However, the Chennai team was suspended for 2 years for the 2016-17 season. DJ Bravo was seen playing for the Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016. And when Chennai's suspension ended, they again included Bravo in their team for IPL 2018. DJ Bravo played a very important role in helping Chennai win the titles. He also became the first player to win the Purple Cap twice. Soon after Bravo retired from IPL in 2022, he was made the bowling coach of the Chennai Super Kings. Thus, looking at his relationship with Chennai Super Kings, it seems that if KKR removes him from the team mentor position, then he can definitely join Chennai Super Kings again as a coaching staff member.
