Trivandrum Royals
Kochi Blue Tigers
Kollam Sailors
Thrissur Titans
Calicut Globatars
Alleppey Ripples
Team India and Rajasthan Royals' star wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson is the biggest face to be included in this auction list, who has been included in category A. Apart from him, Basil Thampi, Kam Asif, Mad Nidhish, Jalaj Saxena, S Midhun, Abdul Bajit and Vishnu Vinod were also seen in the auction. Vignesh Putra, who received a lot of praise in his first IPL match, has already been retained by his team, Alleppey Ripples. All the young and talented players playing in KCL 2025 will definitely want to grab the attention of the IPL franchises by performing well here.
Each team is allowed to retain up to four players and can also use the Right to Match (RTM) card during the auction. Once an RTM is exercised, bidding for that particular player will be closed. Out of the six franchises, two ( Thrissur and Kochi) have not retained any players from the previous season. On the other hand, Kollam, Alleppey and Calicut retained their full quota of four players, while the Trivandrum Royals retained three players.
Thrissur and Kochi did not retain any players, so both teams will have the maximum purse to spend in the auction. Whereas the purse amount of other teams will be seen to be less due to retaining some players before the auction.
