The IPL 2025 has already seen four centuries, all coming from Indian batters. Interestingly, all four are left-handed batters. Viabhav Suryavanshi, 14 years old, holds the record for the fastest hundred in the season, reaching the triple-digit mark in only 35 balls. He not only has the fastest hundred of the season to his name but also has the record for making the second-fastest century in the history of the IPL and the fastest by an Indian batter.
Priyansh Arya held the record before Vaibhav for hitting the fastest ton in the season when he scored a 39-ball century against Chennai Super Kings. Abhishek Sharma ranks third with his 40-ball century, where he broke the record for the highest individual score in the IPL by an Indian batter. Ishan Kishan, on the other hand, ranks fourth, having reached his ton in 45 balls.

The teenager struck 11 sixes in his innings which is the joint-most by an Indian batter in an IPL innings. It took an almost unplayable yorker from Prasidh Krishna to dismiss Suryavanshi, but not before he had made a mockery of the 210-run chase.

The veteran Indian batter scored his ton in 37 balls against Mumbai Indians in 2010. Unfortunately for Pathan, his ton came in a losing cause. In his knock, Pathan hit nine fours and eight sixes. David Miller announced himself on the biggest stage with this century. The South African middle-order batter smashed his ton in just 38 balls ensuring the win for his team. Miller came to the crease when his team was in a spot of bother having lost three wickets with 51 runs on the board. Close to 90 runs were required off the last six overs when Miller started accelerating. His ton is the fastest ever scored in a successful chase in IPL’s history. Miller hit eight fours and seven sixes during his stay at the crease.
