Alex Hales like many other batting records has the most ducks in the BBL for any overseas batter. Hales has been dismissed without scoring 10 times in the history of the tournament. The English opening batter became a T20 specialist after he was exiled from the national team for failing to appear for some drugs tests. After the Vitality Blast, it is the Big Bash League where Hales has played the most matches.
With 2,360 runs in only 78 matches, Hales is one of the consistent players in the tournament. However, the English batter has struggled with opening his account on some occasions. In BBL 2022/23, Hales made 245 runs in nine innings and averaged 30.62. He struck three half-centuries in the season but was unfortunately dismissed for a duck thrice.
Nathan Couleter-Nile is the only player who would be least bothered to appear on this list. The fast bowler has the joint second-most ducks in the BBL. Coulter-Nile has been dismissed without scoring 10 times. While he is known for his bowling, the right-arm pacer on many occasions has shown his ability with the bat in hand.
He is someone who can’t be taken lightly while batting and has played some crucial knocks down the order. In BBL, Coulter-Nile has batted 48 times and scored 392 runs while having a strike rate of 139. However, in BBL 2022/23, Coulter-Nile struggled while batting.
