26-year-old Ayush Badoni is a right-handed batting allrounder who hails from Delhi. He plays for the Lucknow franchise, which bought him for his base price of Rs 20 Lakh in 2022. Since then, he got hooked on the LSG, getting a regular spot in the XI. Before the IPL, Ayush represented Delhi in the State Cricket in a few matches. Back then, former LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir backed him up and gave him a spot in the squad. He didn’t disappoint and bagged a fifty in his first IPL match, scoring 54 off 41. Looking at his consistent scores, LSG retained him for the amount of Rs 4 crore ahead of the IPL 2025.

2018 U-19 Asia Cup champion Ayush Badoni made his IPL debut in 2022 when the Lucknow franchise secured him before the 2022  IPL season. He played his first IPL match for Lucknow Super Giants against the Gujarat Titans on March 28 at Wankhede Stadium. No. 6 Badoni bagged 54 runs off 41 balls with a strike rate of 131.71, including 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Since his debut, Ayush Badoni has been part of the Lucknow Super Giants. Before entering the cash-rich league, Badoni was part of the India U-19 squad that won the U19 Asia Cup 2018, however, he couldn’t make it up to the U19 World Cup Team. Although he did play some games for his state and represented Delhi in the 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy before entering the IPL season.
