The Pakistan tour of Bangladesh will commence with the arrival of the visiting side, Pakistan, on 16th July in Bangladesh. This will be a complete white ball series consisting of only 3 T20I matches, all of which will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
The first match of the series will be played on 20 July followed by the next two matches on 22 July and 24 July. All the matches will be played from 5:30 P.M. Indian Standard Time (IST).
This will be a crucial series for both teams in terms of preparation ahead of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026 to be hosted by Sri Lanka alongside the defending champions India.
Bangladesh qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup after they finished among the top 7 teams in the last edition, excluding the hosts. However, Pakistan barely got into the tournament as they finished outside of the top 7. But they have qualified on the virtue of being the best 3 teams in the T20I Rankings.
In the last week of May 2025, the Bangladesh cricket team, led by captain Litton Das, played 3 T20I matches against the hosts Pakistan, played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. However, the visitors suffered a clean-sweep 3-0 defeat.
Pakistan won the first match by 37 runs. Batting first, the hosts scored 201 runs with captain Agha Salman leading from the front with 56 runs off 34 balls. Hasan Nawaz and Shadab Khan also contributed with 44 and 48 runs respectively.
With the ball, Hasan Ali took a 5-fer with Shadab Khan bagging 2 wickets. Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, and Agha Salman bagged a wicket each to dismiss Bangladesh for 164 runs.

Hasan Nawaz also scored an unbeaten fifty with Mohammad Haris’ 41 runs. Abrar Ahmad picked 3 wickets followed by six different bowlers taking a wicket each as Pakistan won by 57 runs.
After the conclusion of the Bangladesh T20I series, there is still no rest for the Men in Green. Pakistan will be taking on the West Indies in their next series in the United States.
West Indies and Pakistan will play a 3-match T20I series and a further 3 ODI matches starting from 31 July. The T20Is will be played on 31 July, 2 and 3 August at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida. The ODIs will be played on 8, 10, and 12 August at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Ground in Trinidad and Tobago.
