The match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was suspended after a technical failure with the light towers at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala going off.
Punjab Kings are at 122/1 after 10.1 overs. Prabhsimran: 50* (28)
T Natarajan, in his first game, has broken the all-important 122-run opening stand. The left-arm pacer picked up a wicket off the first ball of his second over. One of the light towers has gone off, resulting in a delay.
Punjab Kings are at 122/0 after 10 overs. Priyansh: 70* (33), Prabhsimran: 50* (28)
Priyansh Arya welcomed Kuldeep Yadav into his second over with a huge six, which went to the roof on the HPCA Stadium. On the next ball, it was the same result as the left-hander struck a six down the ground. Prabhsimran Singh scored his fourth fifty in a row, reaching the milestone in 28 balls.
Punjab Kings are at 103/0 after 9 overs. Priyansh: 56* (29), Prabhsimran: 45* (26)
It is yet another great start for the two opening batters. Madhav Tiwari, making his debut in the Indian Premier League, was thrown into some deep trouble. The right-arm medium pacer conceded 14 runs in the over and was hit for two fours on the trot by Prabhsimran, who is nearing a fifty himself.
Punjab Kings are at 79/0 after 7 overs. Priyansh: 50* (25), Prabhsimran: 28* (18)
Priyansh Arya has raced to a 25-ball fifty. The left-handed batter has struck at a strike rate of 200 and has given PBKS a great start in the game.
Punjab Kings are at 69/0 after 6 overs. Priyansh: 42* (22), Prabhsimran: 26* (15)
T Natarajan, for the first time this season, bowled for Delhi Capitals. The left-arm pacer was part of the playing 11 in the last game but could not bowl a single over due to rain. He started his IPL 2025 campaign with a quiet over, giving away only four runs.
Punjab Kings are at 65/0 after 5 overs. Priyansh: 41* (19), Prabhsimran: 24* (13)
With the pacers leaking runs, Axar Patel decided to bring himself into the attack. However, the move backfired for the left-arm spinner as he was smashed for a four by Prabhsimran before Priyansh ended the over with a huge six. He induced an outside edge from Prabhsimran’s bat, but there was no slip to take the catch.
Punjab Kings are at 50/0 after 4 overs. Priyansh: 34* (16), Prabhsimran: 15* (9)
Delhi Capitals are off to a poor start in the first innings. Their two overseas bowlers have failed to put any pressure on the uncapped opening duo of Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. In the fourth over, Priyansh struck the first six of the match over the deep mid-wicket boundary. He earned himself a streaky boundary as well on the fourth ball of the over. He struck a six on the final ball of the over as well.
Punjab Kings are at 32/0 after 3 overs. Priyansh: 16* (10), Prabhsimran: 15* (9)
Once again, Mitchell Starc bowled an expensive over. The left-arm pacer was struck for three fours by Prabhsimran Singh, albeit one of those came from an inside edge.
Punjab Kings are at 20/0 after 2 overs. Priyansh: 16* (10), Prabhsimran: 3* (3)
Dushmantha Chameera had seemed to have cooled things down for the Delhi Capitals. While the Sri Lankan pacer was pretty accurate with his line and length, he overstepped on the final ball. The extra ball resulted in a four.
Punjab Kings are at 11/0 after 1 over. Priyansh: 10* (5), Prabhsimran: 1* (1)
Priyansh Arya started the clash on the best note possible. The left-handed batter smashed a couple on the first two balls against Mitchell Starc. The Australian pacer was pretty wayward with his line to start the clash.
PBKS won the toss and elected to bat first at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals are vying for two crucial points. While DC find themselves in a rut thanks to a winless streak, PBKS, on the other hand, will climb to the top of the points table with a win.
Both teams are injury-free, and there should not be multiple changes in the two teams. However, the Capitals added Sediqullah Atal to their squad a couple of days ago. It will be a huge call from the DC camp if the Afghan batter makes it into the laying XI straightaway.
